Update 0.4.5.39

Meet the latest update, commanders. Enlisted welcomes you with a new interface! We've cleaned up the main screen and made the menus more streamlined. Improved the visibility of promotions, and now we are fully prepared for the big metagame update that's coming.

You can now rewind Replays, and the Harmonization mode in the settings now hides nicknames — a useful feature for streamers. Also, made a couple dozens of other improvements.

Weaponry and Soldiers

  • When a soldier is in water, he gets soaked, which protects him from fire for 30 seconds.
  • Reduced the radius of poisoning effect of phosphorus grenades from 6 meters to 4.2 meters.
  • Added a 1.5 seconds delay between being in the fire and burning for all units.
  • Fixed the missing firing sound of the Polsten AA gun when other players were shooting with it.
  • Fixed the Type 4's reload sound.
  • Updated the audio mix of shooting (volume of shots and reloading of all firearms).
  • Updated reload sounds for M1928A1 Thompson with drum, MAS-36, Ross Mk. III and UD M42.
  • It takes 2 rounds per cycle to reload a Webley MK VI revolver instead of 1.
  • Fixed the model of the telescopic sight on the SVD-38 rifle for the gold order.
  • Fixed an issue with the Type 4 Rifle not displaying well in Soldier's hands.

Vehicles

  • Fixed camera wobble when the player looks up while maneuvering the aircraft.
  • Added sound effects for the end of reloading with large-caliber tank guns.
  • Improved display of the reticle in the vehicle's gunner sight.
  • Implemented smoother transition between observation devices in vehicles.
  • Fixed a bug, which made it impossible to dig near vehicles.
  • Fixed a bug, which made it impossible to pick up a TNT explosive placed on a vehicle.
  • Fixed an issue where the AI ​​bombers in Tunisia would not shoot at the player's plane.
  • Fixed an issue of missing hit markers when firing from vehicle AA at airplanes.

Controls

  • Added prioritization of close combat actions and switching to firing resting on the gamepad.
  • Reworked aim assist for players with gamepads (consoles). The radius and deceleration force when aiming has been reduced, and the adjustment is triggered at a greater distance and more obvious.
  • Added "Modern" control preset for gamepads, focused on comfort in dynamic combat. Improved button combinations for many different actions.
  • Changed the order of buildings in the engineer's radial menu. It now has the rally point selected by default. Opening new structures with squad upgrades does not cause the hotkeys to change.

Visual effects

  • Added various effects to the industrial workshops of the Steel Mill location.
  • Improved the display of rocks on hillsides.
  • Improved display of bomb craters on the terrain covered with snow.

Locations and Missions

  • Changed lighting settings on all locations. Picture became less contrast. Improved visibility.
  • Reworked vegetation: trees, bushes and burnt trees.
  • Added wind on locations, adjusted interaction of trees and bushes with wind.
  • Added a new Monastery (Destruction) mission to the Battle of Moscow campaign.
  • Added a new Steel Mill (Destruction) mission to the Invasion of Normandy campaign.
  • Added a new Power Plant North (Invasion) mission to the Invasion of Normandy campaign.
  • Added a new Al Jabal Farm (Assault) mission to the Battle of Tunisia campaign.
  • Added Hermann Goering strasse (Invasion) mission where "Axis" attacks to the Battle of Berlin campaign.
  • Added Seelow Heights (Conquest) mission to the Battle of Berlin campaign.

Replays

  • Added the ability to rewind replays.
  • Fixed a bug that caused some doors to be closed in the replays.
  • Fixed the shaking of the aircraft in third person view.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the targeting range of mortars was incorrectly displayed in replays.

User Modifications Editor

  • Returned the ability to pick up engineering hammers.
  • Updated RI list.
  • Separated the squad respawn cost parameter for vehicles and infantry.
  • "Melee" type weapon entities are now in the "Weapon" category.

Other Improvements

  • Added an option to enable nickname harmonization in combat (PC): player names are replaced with random neutral ones. Does not apply to players in your own squad in the de-briefing.
  • Fixed a bug due to which engineering structures could be built on top of each other.
  • Changed the rewards for actions against AI-controlled aircraft (f.e. those called in for a bombing strike). The changes will affect the following:
    • No game points will be awarded for killing the crew of AI-controlled aircraft;
    • Rewards for shooting down and other actions against regular (player-controlled) aircraft and rewards for shooting down and other actions against AI-controlled aircraft will be different. The rewards for regular planes will remain the same as they were. Rewards for AI planes will be reduced by no more than 25%;
    • The following basic rewards will be set:
      • Shooting down an aircraft: 265 points (350 points remain for regular planes);
      • Assist in shooting down an aircraft: 25 (30) points;
      • Shooting down with a built gun: 70 (90) points;
      • Assist in shooting down with a built gun: 25 (30) points.
  • Fixed a bug that made the warning about leaving the combat zone not appear if the player left the zone again after being returned to it after landing with a plane.
  • Fixed a bug that made it possible to look inside your neck during a parachute jump.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause interface settings not to apply after re-entering combat.
  • Updated the sound effects of passing through bushes.
  • Fixed an issue where UI show settings would reset after each battle.
